Quality Assurance

Given our diverse client and industry portfolio, in particular the food packaging industry, our commitment to quality in all facets of our operations, from raw materials, to processes, and to the finished product is second to none.

In Mikko Plastics, all operations are carried out with strict supervision by the floor supervisor to ensure quality and efficiency at every stage of the manufacturing process. At the end of each production cycle, quality assurance measures are taken by our quality control supervisors.

We understand that quality raw materials serve as the platform on which flawless products can be produced. So we use imported raw materials for specific applications. The following raw materials are used for the production of plastics rolls and bags.

MLLDPE: Metalocine Polyethylene film has excellent sealing, high clarity, puncture resistance and good tear resistance. HDPE High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) is the high density version of PE plastic. It is harder, stronger and a little heavier than LDPE, but less ductile. It is more resistant after being surface treated and is suitable for printing.

LDPE: Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) is the low density version of PE. This has less hardness, stiffness and strength compared to HDPE, but better ductility. It has excellent chemical resistance to acids and alkalis. It serves as a good barrier to water and vapour.
LLDPE Linear low density polyethylene’s (LLDPE) short chain branching gives it higher tensile strength, puncture and anti-tear properties, making it particularly suitable for film applications.

BOPP: Biaxially-Oriented Polypropylene (BOPP) films have become a popular, high growth film on the world market because of a unique combination of properties such as better shrinkage, stiffness, transparency, seal-ability, twist retention and barrier.
